RDKB has installed water temperature monitors in 6 locations in the Boundary. These stations require manual data download so results will be uploaded as regularly as possible. A water temp of over 20’C is a fisheries concerns, specifically for Rainbow Trout. With the support of deeper and cooler pools plus healthy streamside vegetation for shade, aquatic species can manage higher temps for short periods as long as night temps continue to drop below 20’C.
